Step 1. Test product and verify

FLIP THE BULB AROUND: LED bulbs are polarity sensitive. If a bulb doesn't work the first time you plug it in flip it 180 degrees in the socket. If it still doesn't work move to the next step.

TEST OUTSIDE OF VEHICLE: It is sometimes helpful to test the product outside of the vehicle. Wires from a standard 12V battery can be attached to most products to verify operation.

SWAP COMPONENTS SIDE TO SIDE: If the product is part of a pair and one side is still functioning, switch the suspected defective product to the fully operational side. If the product is part of a kit like the V3 Triton system, switch components one at a time to the operational side to verify which component has failed.

WAIT FOR CONFIRMATION: Our staff will respond to your ticket promptly. Please follow the instructions in the email we send you.

RETURN PRODUCT: In rare cases we may need the product back for inspection or further testing. We will provide you with a return merchandise authorization number and a return shipping label.

INTERNATIONAL CUSTOMERS: Shipping is at the expense of the buyer on all outgoing warranty replacements. We will provide a link for payment.

SPECIFIC WARRANTIES

 
General LED 3 Year Warranty

Most single LED bulbs we sell have a 3 year warranty. In many cases we do not require that the product be shipped back to us. See our full Terms and Conditions for more details.

 
V3 Triton 2 Year Warranty

V3 Triton systems purchased after July 21, 2016 had a 2 year warranty from the original purchase date. Improper installation of a product will void all warranties. Any modifications to the system components or wiring will void all warranties.

V3 Triton systems purchased on or before July 21, 2016 came with a limited lifetime warranty within its current production generation. The last generation was discontinued on July 27, 2017 and warranties were honored for one year beyond this date. This means that effective July 27, 2018 all limited lifetime warranties are now expired. Due to the fact that the V3 Triton has been out of production for several years, replacement parts are no longer available.

In many cases we do not require that the product be shipped back to us.

V6 Triton 3 Year Warranty

The V6 Triton system has a 3 year warranty. Improper installation of a product will void all warranties. Any modifications to the system components or wiring will void all warranties.

q: Is the product warranty transferable?

Warranties are only valid for the original buyer of the product and cannot be transferred to a third party.

 
q: How long are warranties on products installed in commercial or fleet vehicles?

Due to the amount of abuse that businesses and fleet vehicles put on our products all warranties in these applications are half of the original warranty. For example, on a standard 2 year warranty bulb the commercial warranty period would be 1 year. This applies to ALL of our products.

 

DEFECTIVE PRODUCT

 
q: How do I go about getting a replacement for my defective item?

In most cases we do not need the product returned to us and can handle your warranty claim with photos of the defective item. The photo must be received within 30 days of authorization. If processed before 3pm PST, all in stock warranty replacements will ship the same day we receive the photos.

International customers: Shipping is at the expense of the buyer on all outgoing warranty replacements. We will provide a link for payment.

 
q: How do I know if my product is defective?

Test all products outside of the vehicle to eliminate it as a variable. Any modifications or damage to the product will void all warranties.

 
q: What if my product is NOT defective?

All like-new non-defective returns do not have a restocking fee. If an item is returned in used condition and it is not defective it is subject to a 50% restocking fee. In the event a non-defective product is received we will issue you a refund less the restocking fee. Please see our return and exchange pages for details on returning non-defective products.

 
q: I forgot to send my photo of the destroyed product within the 30 day period. Can I still get a replacement or a refund?

Depending on circumstances we may be able to make exceptions to the 30 day policy. If a refund is requested past 180 days from the original purchase date the only option is a store credit.
