Coverage and duration

VLEDS warrants that it will provide a free replacement for any VLEDS product that fails or proves defective during the warranty period on the vehicle for which it was originally installed. This warranty does not apply to a VLEDS product that has been altered, misused, damaged, installed improperly, or installed on a vehicle for which it was not designed. On commercial/fleet vehicles, all VLEDS products are covered for up to 1/2 of the standard warranty period. Additional conditions may apply to certain part applications; if they do, they are clearly stated on the product page description. This warranty is extended only to the owner of the vehicle on which the VLEDS product was installed, while that person owns the vehicle, and is not transferable.

Remedy and service

A replacement for a failed or defective VLEDS product is available from the point of purchase. Before issuing a warranty replacement, the customer must troubleshoot and diagnose defective components by swapping components from side to side. If the customer is not willing to do this, we can send replacements out with a refundable purchase of the replacement part. When we receive photos of the defective product back, we will refund the deposit. Photos of the defective product(s) must be received within 30 days of authorization, or the replacement order will be void. VLEDS will validate the information provided and the alleged defect.

If the product fails within 30 days of receipt, you can convert your warranty to store credit for the total value of the product. Outside of 30 days, we will only repair or replace products – no refunds are given unless we do not carry replacement parts or we cannot repair the product.

Warranty replacement parts are shipped via USPS First Class Mail at the expense of VLEDS. If you would like to use a faster shipping method than First Class Mail, you can contact us and pay the difference. International customers are required to pay the shipping charge on all warranty items.


VLEDS makes no warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular use or purpose and no other warranties, representations or guarantees, whether written or oral, beyond those contained in this warranty. The replacement of the unit is the sole and exclusive remedy for claims of any type (including personal injury) arising from the failure or defective condition of the VLEDS product, from VLEDS negligence or breach of legal duty, or otherwise. VLEDS will not reimburse the vehicle owner for the cost of removing or returning the failed or defective unit, installing the replacement unit or replacing any other parts, or for any other expenses, charges, or damages.

Limitation on liability

To the extent allowed by law, VLEDS will have no obligation to the vehicle owner for any incidental or consequential damages arising from the failure or defective condition of the VLEDS product, from VLEDS negligence or breach of legal duty, or otherwise. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitations or exclusions may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights, which vary from state to state.



General LED 3 Year Warranty

All products come with a 3-year warranty with the exception of Micro Series products. We do not require the product to be shipped back to us. Improper installation of a product will void all warranties. Any modifications to the system components or wiring will void all warranties. See our full Terms and Conditions for more details.

Micro Series headlight kits have a 2-year warranty.

q: How do I go about getting a replacement for my defective item?

In most cases we do not need the product returned to us and can handle your warranty claim with photos of the defective item. The photo must be received within 30 days of authorization. If processed before 3pm PST, all in-stock warranty replacements will ship the same day we receive the photos.

International customers: Shipping is at the expense of the buyer on all outgoing warranty replacements. We will provide a link for payment.

q: How do I know if my product is defective or if it's something else?

If possible test the product outside of the vehicle to eliminate it as the reason for the issue. Any modifications or damage to the product will void all warranties.

q: What if my product is NOT defective?

All like-new non-defective returns do not have a restocking fee. If an item is returned in used condition and it is not defective it is subject to a 50% restocking fee. In the event a non-defective product is received we will issue you a refund less the restocking fee. Please see our return and exchange pages for details on returning non-defective products.

q: I forgot to send my photo of the destroyed product within the 30 day period. Can I still get a replacement or a refund?

Depending on circumstances we may be able to make exceptions to the 30 day policy. If a refund is requested past 180 days from the original purchase date the only option is a store credit.

q: Is the product warranty transferable?

Warranties are only valid for the original buyer of the product and cannot be transferred to a third party.

q: How long are warranties on products installed in commercial or fleet vehicles?

Due to the amount of abuse that businesses and fleet vehicles put on our products all warranties in these applications are half of the original warranty. For example, on a standard 2 year warranty bulb the commercial warranty period would be 1 year. This applies to ALL of our products.
