How do I check the status of a backordered or pre-ordered item?
The easiest way to get an updated ETA on a backorder or pre-ordered item is to check the product page. In the Product Options or above the Add to Cart button is our estimate of when the product will arrive. Please note, this is only an estimate, not a guarantee. Once it has arrived it typically will ship out the next business day. If there is a delay we will update this location on the product page. Images are shown below for reference.
What happens to my order when one of the items is backordered but the rest are in stock?
We will ship all in stock items first and then ship the backorder/pre-order items when they come in. All international orders that have backorder and in stock items will be held until all products are in stock. If a key component of a system or kit is backordered the other components in the kit will be held. When the backordered item(s) become available they will ship out on a second shipment (carrier of our choice) at no extra charge. We limit backorders to 2 shipments total per order. The first shipment will be shipped using the shipping method chosen at checkout. If the second backordered shipment is small in size it will ship USPS First Class Mail.
