PROCEDURES TO DETERMINE IF A PRODUCT IS DEFECTIVE



FLIP THE BULB AROUND: LED bulbs are polarity sensitive. If a bulb doesn't work the first time you plug it in flip it 180 degrees in the socket. If it still doesn't work move to the next step.

TEST OUTSIDE OF VEHICLE: It is sometimes helpful to test the product outside of the vehicle. Wires from a standard 12V battery can be attached to most products to verify operation.

SWAP COMPONENTS SIDE TO SIDE: If the product is part of a pair and one side is still functioning, switch the suspected defective product to the fully operational side. If the product is part of a kit like the V3 Triton system, switch components one at a time to the operational side to verify which component has failed.

SELECT DEPARTMENT: In order to most efficiently handle your warranty item - select WARRANTY for the department.

INPUT ORDER NUMBER: Enter the order number that contains the item you are creating a warranty claim for. If you do not know your order number leave this field blank.

DESTROY OR RETURN PRODUCT AS INSTRUCTED BY VLEDS STAFF



DESTROY PRODUCT: If a staff member responds to your ticket and requests a photo of the product destroyed follow the instructions at the link they provide to take an appropriate photo. This photo can be submitted through the ticketing system in the backend or simply by replying to the ticket with an attachment.

RETURN PRODUCT: If the staff member requests that you send the product back to VLEDS they will instruct you where and how to send the product back to us. Remember to write the RMA number they provide you on the outside of the package as shown below so that you can track updates with your return. Shipping to VLEDS is at the expense of the buyer but we will cover the shipping cost back to you. There are no exclusions to this policy. All international shipments are tested before leaving our facility.

V3 TRITON 2 YEAR* WARRANTY TERMS

The V3 Triton system has a 2 year warranty. Improper installation of a product will void all warranties. Any modifications to the system components or wiring will void all warranties.

In many cases we do not require that the product be shipped back to us.

LMZ 1 YEAR WARRANTY TERMS

LMZ headlight components have a 1 year warranty.

MORIMOTO HID WARRANTY TERMS

Morimoto bulbs carry a 1-2 year warranty.

Morimoto 35W kits (when relay harness is purchased) - 5 year warranty

Morimoto 55W kits (when relay harness is purchased) - 3 year warranty

All individual Morimoto components (not purchased as a kit like bulbs, ballasts, harnesses, etc.) - 2 year warranty

In many cases we do not require that the product be shipped back to us.

Defective items will be replaced with same item only - no exchanges.

COMMONLY ASKED QUESTIONS:


Do I have to pay return shipping on my defective product?

In many cases we do not need the product returned to us and can handle your warranty claim with photos. If we require that you return the product back to us shipping is at the expense of the buyer. There are no exclusions to this policy. All international shipments are tested before leaving our facility.

How do I know if my product is defective?

Test all products outside of the vehicle to eliminate it as a variable. Any modifications or damage to the product by the customer will void all warranties.

What if my product is NOT defective?

All like-new non-defective returns are subject to a 15% restocking fee. If an item is returned in used condition and it is not defective it is subject to a 50% restocking fee. In the event a non-defective product is received we will issue you a refund less the restocking fee. Please see our return and exchange pages for details on returning non-defective products.

Is the product warranty transferable?

Warranties are only valid for the original buyer of the product and cannot be transferred to a third party.
