RETURN/EXCHANGE POLICY

What is your return policy?

You have 30 days from the original shipping date to return any like-new condition items. All returns without an exchange are subject to a 15% restocking fee. In the event that packaging on a new condition item has been damaged an additional 5% will be added to the restocking fee. If an item has been used or installed and it is returned in the 30 day window it will be subject to a 50% restocking fee. Prior to installing any products verify fitment to ensure that items are not damaged during installation in a vehicle that they don’t fit in. If an item does not fit or is incompatible with your vehicle we will waive the restocking fee.  The buyer is responsible for return postage on all returns or exchanges unless it was our mistake.

What is your exchange policy?

Like-new Items can be exchanged for a credit towards any other in-stock item we carry. You have 30 days from the original shipping date to return any new condition items. An example of this is if you bought an LED bulb but want to exchange it for another color. The item you are returning must be in new condition. We reserve the right to deny the exchange if the item you are exchanging with is used or damaged. If you need to exchange the item urgently, place a new order for the correct item and return the original. You will be credited when we receive your previous order as a return. There is no restocking fee associated with exchanged product.

How are shipping costs handled on returns/exchanges?

The customer must pay all return shipping costs. If the reason for the return was because we made a mistake we will cover the shipping back to our facility.

As a consumer it is your responsibility to check local regulatory laws in regards to modifying your factory lighting. In some applications our products are intended for off-road use only.

PRE-ORDER POLICY

How does the pre-order process work?

Sometimes we offer new products for sale at a substantial pre-order discount. The date we expect to receive stock is given as an "ETA" which stands for Estimated Time of Arrival. Occasionally during the first production run there can be unexpected delays that cause the date to shift. If you are curious about when your order is shipping just visit the original product page and find the ETA date. We try to maintain this date to the best of our ability. If at any time you are tired of waiting or no longer want the product you can contact us and we can process a full refund. In the event an ETA date changes we do not offer a deeper discount than what was originally given.

When do you collect the money for the pre-order?

Funds are collected at checkout and the full amount is held. If at any time you would like a refund simply contact us and we can cancel your pre-order.

WARRANTY

What is the warranty on my parts?

Please refer to the product page for warranty length. Warranties are non-transferrable and are only valid for the original purchaser. Customers are required to troubleshoot and diagnose any defective components by swapping components side to side. If the customer is not willing to do this, we can send replacements out with a Refundable Deposit. When we receive photos or the defective product back we will refund the deposit.

Various warranty terms are outlined below for different categories of products:

LMZ/Previous Generation General LED 1 Year Warranty:

The LMZ and most of our previous generation products carried a 1 year warranty. If for some reason a product stops working 1 year from the original shipping date we will repair or replace the defective product or component in a system. Improper installation of a product will void all warranties. Any modifications to the system components or wiring will void all warranties. If an item fails within 30 days of shipping the product, you have the option of converting your warranty to a store credit for the full value of the product. Outside of 30 days we will only repair or replace products – no refunds will be given unless we do not carry replacement parts or we cannot repair the product.

Series 17 General LED 3 Year Warranty:

Most of our newer products carried a 3 year warranty. If for some reason a product stops working 3 years from the original shipping date we will repair or replace the defective product. Improper installation of a product will void all warranties. Any modifications to the system components or wiring will void all warranties. If an item fails within 30 days of shipping the product, you have the option of converting your warranty to a store credit for the full value of the product. Outside of 30 days we will only repair or replace products – no refunds will be given unless we do not carry replacement parts or we cannot repair the product.

Micro Series 2 Year Warranty:

Our Micro Series LED headlights carry a 2 year warranty. If for some reason a product stops working 2 years from the original shipping date we will repair or replace the defective product or component in a system. Improper installation of a product will void all warranties. Any modifications to the system components or wiring will void all warranties. If an item fails within 30 days of shipping the product, you have the option of converting your warranty to a store credit for the full value of the product. Outside of 30 days we will only repair or replace products – no refunds will be given unless we do not carry replacement parts or we cannot repair the product.

V3 Triton Warranty*:

The V3 Triton system has a 2 year warranty. Improper installation of a product will void all warranties. Any modifications or repairs by the customer to the system components or wiring will void all warranties.

*If purchased before July 21, 2016 the V3 Triton system has a limited lifetime warranty in its current production generation. If a generation is discontinued we will replace your system with the latest generation for up to 1 year. Improper installation of a product will void all warranties. Any modifications to the system components or wiring will void all warranties.

V6 Triton Warranty*:

The V6 Triton system has a 3 year warranty. Improper installation of a product will void all warranties. Any modifications or repairs by the customer to the system components or wiring will void all warranties.

How are warranty replacements shipped?

Warranty replacement parts will be shipped via USPS First Class Mail at the expense of VLEDS. Replacements under warranty are no charge to the customer but if a customer would like to use a faster shipping method than what is offered they will be required to pay the cost difference from USPS First Class Mail. International customers are required to pay the shipping charge on all warranty items.

How long are warranties on products installed in commercial or fleet vehicles?

Due to the amount of abuse that businesses and fleet vehicles put on our products all warranties in these applications are half of the original warranty. For example, on a standard 1 year warranty bulb the commercial warranty period would be 6 months. This applies to ALL of our products.

SHIPPING

When will my order ship?

In most cases we ship the same day. Orders placed after 3pm PST will be shipped the following business day.

What should I do if my order was shipped to the wrong address?

Please contact us as soon as you notice any error with your address. In some instances we can change the address before it gets delivered. There is usually a cost associated with doing this which will be billed to the customer. If a package is returned to us because of a customer's mistake when entering the address we are required to invoice the customer for the second shipping cost to the updated address.

What does the shipping insurance cover?

We highly recommend selecting insurance during the checkout process. For a very small price your package will be fully insured if lost, damaged, or stolen. If there are any issues we will ship a new replacement (once a reasonable amount of time is given to deliver your package). If you purchase insurance we deal with any communication with the shipping company so you don't have to.
