CREATE NEW ORDER: Place the product you would like to exchange your existing product to in your shopping cart. Place order and pay in full.

SAVE ORDER NUMBER: When you create a new ticket in Step 2 you will want to share your new order number with our staff member. This allows them to waive the restocking fee on your returned product.

YOUR ORDER WILL BE SHIPPED: We will ship your new order promptly. This saves the shipping delay of us receiving your old product and processing the refund to your PayPal or bank account.

IF YOU DON'T WANT TO PAY UP FRONT: Ship your returned product back to us. This whole process can take 3-5 days of shipping, 1-2 days of processing and an additional 3-5 business days to return your money to your bank account. This is why we recommend placing a new order prior to shipping your returned product back to us.

CREATE A TICKET: Click the button directly below this step to start the process of creating your exchange ticket. Enter all of the necessary information.

SELECT DEPARTMENT: In order to most efficiently handle your exchange - select EXCHANGE for the department.

INPUT ORDER NUMBER: Enter the order number that contains the item you are returning and exchanging. If you do not know your order number leave this field blank.

RETURN PRODUCT AS INSTRUCTED BY VLEDS STAFF



RETURN PRODUCT: Our staff member will request that you send the returned product back to VLEDS and instruct you how to ship it. Remember to write the RMA number they provide you on the outside of the package as shown below so that you can track updates with your return. Shipping to VLEDS is at the expense of the buyer. There are no exclusions to this policy. All international shipments are tested before leaving our facility.

How long do I have to exchange my product?

You have 30 days from receiving your product to make an exchange or return.

Is there a restocking fee on an unopened product?

All like-new returns without an exchange are subject to a 15% restocking fee. As an alternative we can return the product to store credit and waive the restocking fee.

What is the restocking fee for something that has been used or damaged during installation?

All exchanges or returns on items that are no longer in like-new condition (used or damaged) are subject to a 50% restocking fee.

If I bought something during a sale and return it do I get the sale price on the exchanged item?

You will NOT get the sale price on an exchanged item. The only exception to this policy is if within 7 business days of receiving the product you find that it does not fit your vehicle we will process an exchange and honor the sale price on the replacement item.

Will my refund include the original shipping charges?

Since the original shipping charges were paid to the shipping company (USPS, UPS, FedEx) they are not refundable.

Do I have to pay return shipping on an exchange?

Shipping to VLEDS is at the expense of the buyer. There are no exclusions to this policy.

What if I don't want to exchange the product?

All returns without an exchange are subject to a 15% restocking fee. Please see our return page for details on returning products.

What if I don't want to pay a restocking fee?

You must exchange the product for another product to not be charged the restocking fee. Please see our exchange page for details on exchanging products.

What is the fastest way to exchange a product?

If you urgently need to exchange a product simply order the part(s) directly from our website. We will issue a full refund of the purchase price when we receive your product. Remember to notify us that you are placing a new order with an Exchange ticket so that we know that it is an exchange and not a return. Failure to do this will result in the 15% restocking fee being applied to your returned order.

What if I don't want to pay for an exchange upfront?

I received an email that my refund was processed - why isn't it in my account?

Once a refund has been processed, please allow 3-5 business days for the refund to be applied to your credit card or PayPal account. There is nothing we can do to speed up the refund applying to your account - the banks control this process. There is no need to call to check on the status of the refund if you have received the confirmation email. If you do not receive the refund to your account after 5 business days please contact us as there may be an issue.
